Welcome to our online USD Booking Portal where you can book and pay for US Dollars sold to Maldivians who are traveling abroad. Once the booking is confirmed and payment is received, we will have your Dollars ready at our dedicated counters at the departure terminal of Velana International Airport.

Please read the terms and conditions below carefully before proceeding with the booking.

  • This service is only available for Maldivians traveling abroad.
  • You can book and pay for dollars via our Online Portal where you will need to log in using a One-Time Password (OTP) which will be sent to your mobile phone. If you do not have online access, you can book and pay in any one of our branches.
  • A single booking is allowed per day per person and up to 5 passengers can be included in each booking. No one individual can receive more than USD 500 per day.
  • The Bank will not verify traveler and flight details at the time of booking. Please ensure the correct details are provided to avoid any difficulties that may arise when you arrive at the airport to collect your dollars.
  • Bookings should be made at least 8 hours in advance of the flight time and not more than 5 days (120 hours) before you are due to fly.
  • A booking is considered confirmed once we receive the payment via the online portal or our branches. Online payments can only be made using a BML Debit Card.
  • A booking cannot be amended once it is confirmed.
  • If the booking is for more than one passenger, the Bank will be happy to provide the total dollar amount to any one (or more) of the traveling passengers as long as the required passport and boarding passes are produced by that person.
  • The Exchange Rate applied will be the prevailing bank rate on the date of collection. The present indicative bank rate is 15.42.
  • If dollars sold for a booking are not collected on the traveling date, the booking will be cancelled after 72 hours from the flight date and time, and we will refund back the amount in MVR within 7 working days.
  • Refunds will be deposited back into the relevant bank account in the case of online payments and account transfers. If payment is made in cash, the refund will be paid to the person who visited the Bank and signed the relevant slip.
